If You Are What You Eat...

So I finally took action against my fat ass, I have decided to shrink it and it's surrounding areas. I signed up (rejoined) Weight Watchers today with much more enthusiasm and spirit than I ever had initially. I am for more interested in the process this time, and I am adamant that I will see my weight loss through to goal. 

Woohoo. 

Bring on the fresh fruit, steamed veggies, salads and water.

Goodbye burgers, chips and sugar. Can't say that I was really a bad food enthusiast. However, somehow this ass and tummy grew, they didn't do the eating all on their lonesome. So I have to take responsibility, for my health, my sanity, for me.

Take It or Leave It

Never has something been so relevant to me in such a long time. I tend to want to control everything and anything. I have been told that I need to curb my impatience. Oh wells. I am working on it. I am taking Gaviscon for the acid reflux though, haha. So this is my quote for the day, take it, or leave it. Ciao!

I decided to stay in on Friday night, I needed the night in. I was rather pooped from the partying the night before. All I wanted to do was disappear under the warmth of my duvet while taking in a subtitled movie. I have a slight obsession with French film, or any foreign film for that matter. They just do everything better I think. So I picked 'La Vie En Rose', the Edith Piaf biopic. Piaf is portrayed by Marion Cotillard, who deservedly won an Oscar for this role. I was riveted. The music, the voice, the life. I was once again convinced that I need to live in France, even if for a short while. In Grasse, I think. The last song she sings at the end of the film really moved me. She sings of living a life without regret. This is how I live my life. So I thought it had to be my lyric of the day that I share with you. Enjoy!
