Lyric of the Day

AFI happens to be one of my favourite bands. I know I say that about every band, but hey I even chose a design from one of their albums covers and now wear that design as a tattoo on my wrist (wow my cell takes crappy pictures).

This song also stands as a favourite. A song about frustration and friendship. Seems apt to me, sometimes a song sums up the feelings you have inside and through those simple words you are able to tell someone how you feel. I just wish sometimes that I could send a song to someone, or play it for them, and then they would have an "aha" moment. You know that shizzle Oprah talks about.
I think this could work in countless situations. "I love You, let me play you a song".
"You're a jerk, let me play you a song". "I'm heartbroken, let me play you a song". I think you get the point. Now let me play the song.

"It's the same old situation,
it seems it's coming 'round again.
I wont play the fool,
I'm not screwin' around.
I only play to win.
I only want what I deserve so who are you tryin' to kid?

No more waitin' around,
no more hangin' around,
no more draggin' me down.
no more, no more."
