I have been listening to my old time favourite, Atreyu. Apart from the gorgeous lead singer, the music ain't that bad either. Just kidding, I am not that shallow.
I chose this lyric as I have reached a point in my life where I need something new, challenging and exciting. I have clashed with my friends, I am a little bored at work, I am tired of going to the same places... I am in a bit of a rut. I would love to pack up and explore the corners of the globe, but this of course requires some extra moola. It will all happen in time. I am working on my attitude to my friends, I am looking at new things to do at work (keeping myself busy) and I have decided that I would rather stay at home than be somewhere where I am not happy. This of course ties in with my posts last year about "living my authentic life". This has been, and will continue to be a process (the pursuit of happiness). I will always strive to do better and improve myself. As I fully understand that I have to take control of and be responsible for my life, I cannot live my life waiting for others to justify me.
