Every year we spend Christmas with an eclectic mixture of people who are not Christian (read Buddhist) yet choose to observe the holiday with a table laden with gorgeous food, a silver sparkling tree (read big twig), small, novel gifts (I got a purple feather boa), Christmas crackers and lots of laughter lubricated by lots of alcohol. Always fun!
