My Dream
It has been my dream for a while now to learn the art of (proper) cake making / baking / Pâtisserie. I would love to get my hands dirty creating worlds out of sponge cake, sugar icing, chocolate, mousse, and edible glitter. Ah heaven! Just like the show on Discovery 'Cake Boss', I too would like to make jaw-dropping creations that make people both gasp and drool at the same time. Here are a few pics of just what can be done. I am amazed everyday at what I find. Incredible!

I am on the hunt for a place that teaches such things... I know The Chocolate Den has courses, but I was there recently and it has become a bit dodgey! Perhaps "Nicolas's" is the way forward. I bought a book just the other day, which is ideal for beginners - oh how I wish I could remember what it was called right now... Will have a look and let you know.
