Lyric of the Day

Bands, and listening to bands, I think one goes through phases and this is directly influenced by mood, the people you spend your time with, want to spend your time with, and what you spend your time listening to. I have found that in the last week (also owing to the fact that this album was just released) I have been listening to the new Alexisonfire (Old Crows / Young Cardinals) non-stop. It's not to say that I did not enjoy them before, but I think they stopped being new for me. Their witty, wonderful and emotional lyrics were played out for me. I wanted something new. I am glad that there is something new that I can kill now. I tend to do that. I think everyone does. I still think Dallas Green does magic with a pen, and truly makes you feel as if you are the only person who knows what he is singing about. But then isn't that the beauty of it all right? I have yet to see them live. For now I listen to this album (on repeat), in particular, "Wayfarer Youth". Hmmm....
