Dream Happy Snappers

Below is my camera porn. The cameras I aspire to own one day. They are in price order. I currently own a Nikon D200 and I adore taking photographs when I get the chance. I am away this weekend, visiting Louise and Cameron at their home in old Elisras, now known as Lephalale. Looking forward to the game drive and snapping some wild life. I hope to get my hands on that Blackmagic Cinema Camera soon after launch in South Africa. I will, I will!

I collect old cameras. I have an Agfa Optima Flash Sensor. I think it may have been my Aunt Marion's camera back in the day. It was first manufactured back in 1977. I know, ancient right. I thought why not slap some film into the old gal and see how she goes. So I gave her a test run using my dogs as my unwilling victims and then unleashed her on my 24th Birthday party guests. I think the results are pretty awesome. I like the grainy quality and where some of the images are slightly burned out. The flash is INTENSE! Just ask my friends. I shall be using this old gal more often... ENJOY!
